We investigate mobile apps and digital products to uncover hidden features, A/B experiments, upcoming product changes, promotions, and early signals of new developments — often before they're publicly announced.

Our research helps product, strategy, and competitive intelligence teams make better decisions.

We're looking for a curious, resourceful, and technically minded Product Intelligence Research Analyst who loves figuring out how things work.

Your mission is to investigate mobile apps, uncover interesting product developments, connect pieces of evidence, and turn your findings into valuable intelligence for our customers.

This isn't a traditional market research position. You'll work hands-on with apps, experiment with different approaches, investigate technical signals, and solve problems that don't always have obvious answers.

You don't need to be a software engineer, but you should enjoy exploring technology and be comfortable learning new technical tools.

• Investigate mobile apps: Explore Android and iOS applications to identify new features, experiments, product changes, and upcoming launches.
• Uncover hidden developments: Analyze app updates, APK changes, feature flags, strings, and other technical signals to identify what companies may be working on.
• Connect the dots: Combine technical evidence, user-facing observations, and external research to develop and validate hypotheses.
• Solve research challenges: Find creative ways to investigate apps when access is limited by geography, account requirements, device restrictions, or other obstacles.
• Identify new research opportunities: Go beyond predefined tasks to discover signals, patterns, and insights we haven't considered.
• Translate findings into business insights: Explain not just what changed, but why it matters to a competitor's product, growth, monetization, or strategy.
• Improve our methodology: Propose new research techniques, tools, and processes to make our intelligence more valuable.

• Exceptional curiosity: You naturally ask "Why?", "How does this work?", and "What else can I discover?"
• Creative problem-solving: You find ways around obstacles rather than stopping when something doesn't work.
• Technical aptitude: You're comfortable with technology, developer tools, basic scripting, or learning how apps work behind the scenes.
• Analytical thinking: You can connect multiple pieces of evidence, challenge assumptions, and distinguish facts from hypotheses.
• Product intuition: You understand how mobile products work and can recognize the business significance of new features.
• Independence: You take ownership of investigations and know how to make progress without step-by-step instructions.
• Clear communication: You can turn complex technical observations into concise, actionable insights in English.

• Experience investigating Android or iOS apps.
• Familiarity with APK analysis, reverse engineering, API inspection, or mobile debugging tools.
• Experience with Python, SQL, or other scripting languages.
• Background in product analysis, QA, competitive intelligence, OSINT, or technical research.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, feature flags, and experimentation frameworks.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate research and analysis.
