Role Description The Purchasing Buyer | Electronics & Defense Industry role is a full-time, on-site position based in Beit Shemesh. The individual in this role will manage end-to-end purchasing processes for electronic and defense-related components, including sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms. Daily responsibilities include creating and tracking purchase orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and resolving discrepancies in quantity, quality, or documentation. The role involves analyzing demand forecasts and inventory levels to ensure timely procurement, maintaining accurate purchasing records, and collaborating closely with engineering, logistics, and finance teams. The Purchasing Buyer will also support supplier evaluation, contribute to cost-reduction initiatives, and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchasing Processes and Purchasing, with experience in end-to-end procurement in manufacturing, electronics, or defense environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in creating and managing Purchase Orders, including tracking deliveries and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess supplier performance, support demand planning, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Candidates should possess Communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, negotiate with suppliers, and document purchasing activities clearly.
• Relevant qualifications include prior experience as a buyer or procurement specialist in the electronics or defense industry, and familiarity with ERP or purchasing software.
• A relevant diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is beneficial, along with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English and Hebrew, and additional foreign languages, is an advantage in working with international suppliers and partners.

💰 Salary: ₪13,000–16,000 gross per month, depending on experience.
