IT Infrastructure Team Lead | Systems, Cloud & Google Workspace

A leading government organization in Jerusalem is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Team Lead to manage and lead enterprise IT infrastructure and systems operations.

This hands-on leadership role combines technical team management, systems administration, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology projects, with a strong focus on Microsoft environments and Google Workspace.

You will lead a technical team, maintain critical IT infrastructure, resolve complex technical issues, and drive modernization and migration initiatives in a large-scale organizational environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead and provide technical guidance to an IT Infrastructure and Systems team
• Oversee enterprise servers, networks, email systems, identity management, and endpoint infrastructure
• Manage the deployment, administration, maintenance, and improvement of enterprise IT systems
• Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure incidents and technical issues
• Lead infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and enterprise technology migrations
• Drive migration initiatives to Google Workspace
• Administer and maintain Google Workspace environments
• Work with AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure
• Manage Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory environments
• Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve infrastructure operations when needed
• Collaborate with technical stakeholders to ensure infrastructure reliability and operational continuity

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of professional experience in IT Infrastructure or Systems Administration
• Proven experience managing an IT Infrastructure or Systems team
• Experience leading enterprise infrastructure and technology projects
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory
• Experience deploying, administering, and maintaining enterprise servers and endpoints
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace
• Ability to lead technical teams, prioritize tasks, and operate effectively in a complex enterprise environment

Advantage

• Experience developing scripts or implementing infrastructure automation solutions

Education & Professional Qualifications

Candidates must meet at least one of the following qualification paths:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Another bachelor's degree combined with at least 200 hours of studies in computerized Information Systems
• Practical Engineering diploma in Computers or a relevant technology field
• At least 300 hours of advanced Information Systems courses, without an academic degree
• Relevant professional experience combined with graduation from an IDF technological unit and/or military technology training program
