AI, Algorithms & Data Lead

We are looking for an AI, Algorithms & Data Lead to drive the development and implementation of AI, machine learning, algorithms, and data-driven solutions in the healthcare technology space.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technical leader to shape AI and data initiatives, translate complex clinical data into actionable insights, and contribute to the development of innovative technologies that support clinical decision-making and improve patient care.

You will lead the AI and data domain, combining technical ownership and hands-on development with responsibility for data strategy, algorithm development, and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. The role includes direct management of a Data Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the AI and data domain, defining technical direction, priorities, and development plans.
• Drive the research, development, and validation of AI/ML models and algorithms using complex real-world medical data.
• Oversee data analysis, data pipelines, and the development of data-driven solutions.
• Translate clinical and business requirements into practical AI, algorithmic, and data solutions.
• Take an active role in technical design, algorithm development, experimentation, and evaluation.
• Drive the transition from research and proof of concept to validated, production-ready solutions.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering, clinical, regulatory, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure that AI and data solutions meet requirements for performance, reliability, scalability, and data security.
• Identify opportunities for technological innovation and contribute to intellectual property development.
• Manage and support a Data Analyst, providing professional guidance and aligning data activities with broader technological goals.
  
  

• Strong technical background in AI/ML, algorithms, data science, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience developing and evaluating AI/ML models or algorithmic solutions.
• Experience working with complex datasets, data pipelines, and data-driven systems.
• Strong programming skills and the ability to translate research and analytical concepts into practical solutions.
• Experience leading a technical domain, project, or initiative, with the ability to set priorities and drive execution.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and translate business or clinical needs into technical requirements.
• A proactive, hands-on approach, combining analytical thinking, technical judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in healthcare technology, digital health, medical devices, clinical data, or regulated environments is a significant advantage.
• Experience with software architecture, production deployment, or bringing AI-based solutions from research into real-world use is an advantage.
