We are seeking an experienced Head of Software Development to join a leading organization in a senior technology leadership role.

In this role, you will lead and manage the development of complex enterprise information systems, overseeing software development teams alongside QA and automation activities.

The role includes providing professional and managerial leadership to development teams, driving end-to-end software development processes, establishing technological standards, implementing development methodologies and best practices, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

You will be responsible for managing development teams, introducing advanced software engineering tools and practices, improving development processes, and maintaining high standards of software quality, efficiency, and performance.

Requirements:

• Relevant academic education – required

• 10+ years of experience managing the development of complex, multi-process information systems – required

• Proven experience managing software development teams of at least 10 technical professionals – required

• Professional hands-on experience in software development – required

• Extensive hands-on software development background – advantage

• Experience developing software systems and products in the Insurance industry, particularly Pension and Retirement products – advantage

• Experience managing QA and Test Automation teams – advantage
