Trade Compliance Manager

Role Description The Trade Compliance Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Haifa, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role oversees import and export processes to ensure adherence to international trade regulations, internal policies, and applicable laws. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing customs documentation, reviewing transactions for compliance risks, coordinating with customs brokers and logistics partners, and maintaining accurate trade records. The Trade Compliance Manager will develop and implement trade compliance procedures, provide guidance to internal stakeholders, monitor regulatory changes, and support audits and investigations as needed. The role also involves collaborating with legal, procurement, finance, and operations teams to optimize trade flows while maintaining strict compliance standards.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in trade compliance, including hands-on experience with Trade Compliance frameworks and Import Compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of customs processes, including Customs Brokerage and Customs Valuation practices.
• Experience working with Free Trade Agreements and related rules of origin and documentation.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply international trade regulations, sanctions, and export control rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, business, economics, international trade, or a related field; advanced certifications in trade compliance are an advantage.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Proficiency in relevant software tools and ERP systems; strong MS Office skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an asset.
