Head of Core Infrastructure 

A leading enterprise organization is seeking an experienced Head of Core Infrastructure to lead three professional teams across core IT infrastructure, IBM Power / AS400, and SAP.

This is a senior leadership role combining direct people management, management of managers, infrastructure planning, and ownership of business-critical enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead 11 employees, including 3 managers, across three infrastructure domains.
• Oversee core computing infrastructure, storage, virtualization, backup, IBM Power / AS400, and SAP infrastructure.
• Lead infrastructure planning, technology roadmaps, and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure availability, resilience, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
• Manage strategic projects, budgets, vendors, and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing employees directly and leading managers.
• Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas:
• Core IT Infrastructure: Servers, storage, virtualization, and backup.
• IBM Power / AS400: Enterprise infrastructure and operations.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure planning and enterprise environments.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities.

Experience with SAP infrastructure is an advantage, as is experience across multiple infrastructure domains.
