PCB Layout Designer | Yokneam

A leading defense technology company is looking for an experienced Senior PCB Layout Designer to join its Hardware team in Yokneam. This is a key hands-on role requiring strong ownership, independent working capabilities, and the ability to manage PCB layout activities from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Take full ownership of the PCB layout process from start to finish, including process improvements
• Manage PCB layout activities performed by subcontractors
• Work closely with Development Engineers, Manufacturing Technologists, and PCB manufacturers
• Manage and maintain electronic component libraries

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on PCB layout experience, from component creation through manufacturing package preparation
• Experience defining electronic components and working with component databases
• Ability to review, validate, and correct layout files created by other PCB designers
• Experience working directly with PCB manufacturers and providing technical support for production-related issues
• Practical Engineer or B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering – Advantage
• Experience with EXPEDITION/Xpedition – Significant advantage
• Thorough understanding of IPC-6012/6013 standards – Advantage
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate strong ownership, and maintain a high work ethic
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a strong service-oriented approach
