About the Role

ISCAR is looking for a Data Engineer to develop data solutions and contribute to the infrastructure supporting our data and AI services.

As part of our Data & AI Infrastructure team, you will work in a global manufacturing environment, supporting business decisions across operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics. The role combines end-to-end BI development, data engineering, and infrastructure operations.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and DWH solutions integrating multiple enterprise systems.
• Deliver end-to-end BI solutions, from requirements gathering and data modeling to Power BI semantic models and dashboards.
• Optimize SQL queries, data models, and pipelines, and implement data quality checks and monitoring.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to turn business needs into practical data solutions.
• Contribute to the maintenance and monitoring of AKS clusters and containerized data and AI services.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support platform reliability through logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Support integrations with Azure AI Foundry and LLM services, including connectivity, authentication, and operational monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering or BI development in an enterprise environment.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling and DAX.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT processes, DWH solutions, and dimensional data models.
• Experience with data infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and self-learning abilities, with high-level English, spoken and written.

Advantages

• Experience with Python, REST APIs, and system integration.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Azure Monitor, or Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or CDC tools such as Qlik Replicate.
• Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, or integrations with LLM services.
• Experience with ERP systems, AS/400, or global industrial organizations.

Location

This is an onsite position at ISCAR headquarters in Migdal Tefen, Northern Israel.
