HVAC Product Engineer

About the Role

INNOVA develops and markets innovative HVAC products and solutions. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Product Engineer with a background in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering to join and support our Technical Documentation Department.

In this role, you will provide engineering and technical support for the development, review, and maintenance of product documentation, ensuring technical accuracy, consistency, and alignment with product specifications.

You will work closely with the Documentation, Engineering, and Technical teams to translate complex product information into clear, accurate, and structured technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Technical Documentation Support

• Provide engineering and technical support to the Technical Documentation Department in developing and maintaining product manuals, installation guides, specifications, wiring diagrams, and other technical materials.
• Review and verify technical drawings, product specifications, and engineering data to ensure accuracy and consistency across documentation.
• Work closely with engineering and technical teams to gather, clarify, and validate product information.
• Support the preparation and updating of technical documentation following engineering changes, component updates, and product improvements.
• Maintain organized, accurate, and version-controlled technical product information and documentation.

Cross-Departmental Coordination

• Serve as a technical point of contact between the Documentation Department and Engineering, Quality, Product, and Service teams.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure technical information is accurately reflected in product documentation.
• Communicate with local and international suppliers to obtain and verify technical specifications, product data, and component information.
• Assist in resolving technical documentation questions and discrepancies.

Product & Technical Support

• Review technical and product-related materials to ensure consistency with engineering specifications and product requirements.
• Support documentation requirements for new product launches, product updates, and engineering modifications.
• Assist in ensuring product documentation aligns with applicable regulatory and safety standards.
• Track documentation-related tasks and coordinate their completion with relevant departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience working with technical documentation, engineering processes, or technical product information.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, and product diagrams.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to work with engineering and product-related information.
• Excellent written and spoken English, including the ability to review and understand technical documentation.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
• Experience working with technical products, engineering teams, or international suppliers.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and technical information management tools.
