Senior System Administrator (Global Infrastructure Team)

A leading global industrial company is seeking a Senior System Administrator to join its Global Infrastructure Team.

This role involves responsibility for managing, maintaining, and developing a complex, multi-site enterprise IT environment across Israel and international locations. The position also includes leading major infrastructure projects and providing advanced technical expertise and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain large-scale VMware vSphere environments.
• Administer Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and Windows Server.
• Manage and support Microsoft Hybrid environments, including Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Entra Connect.
• Design, implement, and maintain networking infrastructure, VPNs, and Check Point Firewalls.
• Manage LAN, VLAN, and Wireless networks across multiple sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation.
• Work closely with vendors, integrators, and IT teams in Israel and abroad.
• Participate in mergers, acquisitions, and onboarding of newly acquired companies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, processes, and infrastructure changes.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator in a medium-to-large organization.
• Proven experience managing VMware vSphere and large-scale virtualized environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft enterprise infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Check Point Firewalls and Site-to-Site VPNs.
• Experience managing enterprise networking environments, including switches, VLANs, and communication infrastructure.
• Experience working in Microsoft Hybrid environments (Microsoft 365, Exchange, Entra Connect).
• Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge.
• Experience with Storage and SAN solutions - a significant advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
• Strong project leadership skills, ability to work independently, and a broad systems perspective.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work outside standard business hours when required.
• Relevant VMware and/or Microsoft certifications.
