Mainframe Project Manager

Areas of Responsibility:

• End-to-end project leadership: Managing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation, business needs analysis, planning, development, testing, implementation, and go-live.
• Managing complex core system projects: Leading projects in the organization's core financial and operational systems, while ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Managing interfaces with multiple stakeholders: Ongoing collaboration with business units, Information Systems, Operations, Information Security, Infrastructure, vendors, and regulatory entities.
• Managing scope, timelines, and risks: Building work plans, tracking milestones, managing risks, addressing blockers, and ensuring project objectives are met.
• Solution specification and leadership: Leading systems analysis processes, defining business and functional requirements, and supporting solution implementation with development teams.
• Leading organizational changes: Implementing new processes and systems and managing cross-organizational impacts.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science, or another relevant field. Specialization in Information Systems is an advantage.
• At least four years of experience managing technological projects in a financial institution (mandatory), including significant experience with core system projects.
• In-depth familiarity with financial and operational processes in a banking or financial system.
• Experience working with enterprise core systems, integration interfaces, and cross-organizational processes.
• Proficiency in Agile project management methodologies and adapting them to project needs.
• Matrix management skills and the ability to lead tasks involving multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
• High level of independence, organizational and planning skills, a systemic perspective, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Advantages:
