Development Team Lead & Tech Owner

A well-established, highly stable Israeli FinTech SaaS company engineering enterprise-grade equity administration and cap-table management platforms for corporations, technology firms, and employees worldwide.

Managing complex equity compensation, compliance, and multi-million-dollar capitalization structures, the platform serves as a mission-critical financial backbone operating under rigorous financial and data privacy standards.

Located in Tel Aviv directly adjacent to the light rail, operating on a hybrid model with one day working from home.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Hands-on Full Stack R&D Team Lead, building and technically leading a brand-new in-house engineering team from the ground up.
• Partnering directly with the CTO to drive the product’s technological roadmap, architectural vision, and end-to-end system design.
• Holding complete engineering ownership: establishing modern development practices, leading design and code reviews, and mentoring squad developers.
• Spearheading hands-on architecture and full-stack development utilizing Python, AWS Serverless (Lambda), and React.
• Managing technical vendors and external development partners, ensuring seamless integration, high engineering standards, and rigorous code delivery.
• Championing Agile/Scrum ceremonies, iterative sprint planning, and modern CI/CD deployment workflows.
• Driving the adoption and integration of AI-assisted development tools into the daily engineering routine to accelerate development velocity and code quality.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline – Mandatory
• At least 7 years of professional software development experience, including at least 3 years in Full Stack development – Mandatory
• Deep mastery and proven production track record in Python (architecture, clean code, design patterns, and best practices) – Mandatory
• Significant hands-on development expertise with React – Mandatory
• At least 3 years of experience in engineering leadership / Team Lead roles (mentoring engineers, architectural decision-making, and code reviews) – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience architecting and deploying systems on AWS, with specific expertise in Serverless services (AWS Lambda) and Microservices architecture – Mandatory
• Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum workflows, sprint planning, and iterative releases – Mandatory
• Active orientation and practical usage of AI-assisted developer tools within the daily development lifecycle – Mandatory
• High degree of autonomy, technical leadership, and fluent communication in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
