Senior Project Manager Business Development

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager & Business Development professional to join the LAHAV Aerostructures Plant at Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage subcontractor projects involving suppliers of production tooling, jigs, fixtures, and complex precision assemblies.
• Manage suppliers in Israel and worldwide, including identifying and developing new suppliers, conducting supplier assessments, evaluations, and qualifications.
• Lead commercial and technical negotiations to achieve optimal costs, delivery schedules, and compliance with quality requirements.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment, working closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning & Control, Production, and Project Management.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers, presenting project status updates, risks, and action plans.
• Maintain and update ERP systems, analyze data, generate reports, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct professional site visits and business trips to suppliers in Israel and abroad.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering & Management or Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory
• At least 3 years of experience in Supplier Management, Project Management, Procurement, or Subcontractor Management in machining, milling, turning, or precision assemblies – Mandatory
• Experience managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment – Mandatory
• Strong technical understanding and ability to read mechanical engineering drawings – Mandatory
• Proven experience in commercial and technical negotiations – Mandatory
• Excellent English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) – Mandatory
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business – Mandatory
• Experience working with ERP systems – Significant advantage
