EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Test Laboratory Engineer

About the Role

Malam, part of the Missiles & Space Division, is looking for an EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) Test Laboratory Engineer.

The role includes:

• Setting up test configurations in accordance with electromagnetic compatibility standards or predefined test plans, depending on project requirements.
• Operating equipment and performing electromagnetic compatibility tests in accordance with the MIL-STD-461 standard and space systems standards.
• Learning and operating systems, and understanding the mechanisms of electromagnetic susceptibility and emissions in systems and enclosures.
• Analyzing, testing, and investigating the sources of interference or malfunctions.
• Summarizing laboratory testing activities and preparing final test reports.
• Analyzing testing and calibration processes for laboratory test equipment.
• Preparing master test plans and detailed test procedures for electromagnetic compatibility projects and enclosures (EMI Plan and EMI Test Procedures).

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a technician or practical engineer qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – Mandatory
• Specialization in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) or a related field, such as RF – Mandatory
• At least 3 years of experience in EMC or RF testing – Mandatory
• Ability to operate advanced laboratory test equipment – Mandatory
• Full proficiency in Hebrew and English, including writing, reading, and speaking – Mandatory
• Ability to read and write laboratory reports and prepare comprehensive analysis reports.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and implement laboratory testing instructions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
