IT Infrastructure Department Manager | Ramat Gan, Israel

A leading organization is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Department Manager to lead and oversee its enterprise-wide IT infrastructure operations. This is a senior leadership opportunity combining strategic planning, operational excellence, people management, and technological innovation in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple technical teams across IT infrastructure, Systems, Networking, DevOps, and AS/400.
• Take overall responsibility for enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, networking, cloud, and endpoint infrastructure.
• Ensure high availability, stability, performance, and resilience of business-critical production systems.
• Develop annual work plans and lead strategic, cross-organizational infrastructure projects.
• Drive infrastructure modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee incident and problem management, ensuring timely resolution and full service restoration.
• Ensure infrastructure security, regulatory compliance, and effective cyber risk management.
• Lead recruitment, professional development, knowledge sharing, and employee retention.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure in a medium-sized or large organization.
• Proven experience leading and managing technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Experience managing complex, business-critical production environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring, backup, information security, and IT Service Management (ITSM/ITIL) processes.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is an advantage.
