R&D Group Lead

Role Description-

• Serving as R&D Director / Engineering Group Manager, reporting directly to the VP R&D, leading a core engineering group of 3 teams (16 engineers across backend, infrastructure, and cyber research domains).
• Driving end-to-end technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and execution across high-throughput Distributed Systems and microservices architectures.
• Spearheading the company-wide AI transformation strategy, actively integrating AI Agents, LLMs, and AI-assisted development paradigms into both product features and daily engineering workflows.
• Mentoring and scaling Team Leads, defining engineering best practices, conducting architectural reviews, and aligning technological execution with strategic product roadmaps.
• Deeply understanding the product's offensive security core, bridging cutting-edge cyber research capabilities with robust, resilient software engineering.

Requirements-

• Proven track record in engineering leadership as an R&D Group Manager, Director of Engineering, or experienced R&D Team Lead ready to lead a multi-team group – Mandatory
• Significant domain background in the Cybersecurity industry – Mandatory
• Demonstrated hands-on background architecting and scaling complex, high-volume Distributed Systems and Microservices – Mandatory
• Deep technological foundation in Python, Kubernetes (K8s), and cloud-native backend environments – Mandatory
• Hands-on familiarity and leadership experience with AI technologies (LLMs, Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, or AI-assisted development tools) – Mandatory
• Strong architectural vision, technical judgment, and people management capabilities – Mandatory
• Fluent, executive-level communication skills in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
