Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Backend Infrastructure Engineer, joining the foundational Core R&D squad with direct architectural influence over the platform's central infrastructure layers.
• Architecting, developing, and scaling high-throughput, low-latency distributed backend microservices primarily in Python, designed to interact dynamically with complex cloud execution environments.
• Designing and implementing resilient distributed components and orchestration engines running natively on AWS.
• Engineering mission-critical backend systems to support large-scale telemetry ingestion, real-time optimization heuristics, and autonomous resource management pipelines.
• Collaborating closely with algorithmic researchers, distributed systems architects, and product engineering to turn autonomous cloud-orchestration paradigms into resilient production services.
• Driving best practices around code quality, system observability, performance profiling, and continuous deployment within an agile, high-velocity engineering squad.

Requirements-

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline OR an alumnus of an elite IDF technological unit – Mandatory
• 6+ years of dedicated professional backend software engineering experience building production-grade systems – Mandatory
• Proven, practical hands-on experience developing and deploying scalable backend services on AWS – Mandatory
• Deep, robust backend engineering capabilities in modern programming environments (Python strongly preferred; open to polyglot backend backgrounds transitioning into Python) – Mandatory
• Strong foundational understanding of distributed systems architectures, concurrency, and high-scale backend design patterns – Mandatory
• High degree of technical agility, independent problem-solving mindset in early-stage environments, and fluent communication in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
