Company Description The Museum of Tolerance Jerusalem has recently opened its doors to the public and is dedicated to promoting dialogue, understanding, and respect among diverse communities. Located in the heart of Jerusalem, the museum combines exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural events to explore tolerance, unity, and human dignity. Its contemporary facilities are designed to offer immersive visitor experiences that connect architecture, interior design, and storytelling. Team members collaborate across disciplines to create meaningful spaces that support the museum’s mission and enhance visitor engagement.
Role Description The Museum Interiors Architect position is an on-site role that reports directly to the Director of Architecture. The work includes coordination of ongoing interior renovations and improvements to the museum building itself in coordination with our in-house construction company as well as construction administration work for the extensive interior exhibitions work underway with both our construction company and subcontractors. The candidate should be proactive, energetic, and attentive to detail. Part of the role will be to review materials, finishes, and furniture specifications, oversee design implementation during construction, and ensure that interior solutions align with safety standards, budget, and project timelines. There is also a large amount of signage and display work that gets coordinated. We work with designers, creatives, fabricators and suppliers around the world as well as local subcontractors. The museum is a multi discipline work environment - with the architecture department being one department within the greater whole. This allows for a very dynamic and exciting work environment.
