HPC Support Team Lead

Your role will include:

Managing the Tier 2.5 team, monitoring service metrics, and providing advanced tech

support to Institute researchers and internal teams, including:

o Supporting HPC and AI infrastructures

o Handling complex service calls in the Institute's core HPC/AI environments

and providing advanced solutions for system issues

o Providing professional support to internal teams and Institute researchers

for compiling, optimizing, and running complex scientific software

o Working with scientific development environments and advanced Python libraries

(TensorFlow, PyTorch, Dask, mpi4py, NumPy, and SciPy)

Skills and abilities:

o10+ years of significant experience in managing various

Linux environments – required

o 5+ years of experience managing service and support teams

(in large organizations) – required

o Experience working with HPC and/or AI environments – required

o Experience resolving complex issues in HPC/AI environments (incl. CPU/GPU

performance benchmarking)

o High-level proficiency in Hebrew and English (spoken and written)

o Strong capacity for analyzing system faults and solving complex problems

in production environments

o Able to work independently and as a team within a dynamic,

multitasking environment

o Responsible, proactive, strong independent learner

o Systems thinking; able to lead complex technological processes

o Analytical thinking; able to learn new technologies quickly

o High-level interpersonal communication skills and service orientation
