System Engineer - Renewable Energy & Energy Storage Projects

Nextcom is seeking a System Engineer to provide technical leadership and support for renewable energy and energy storage projects.

• Lead and provide technical guidance and support for the development of renewable energy and energy storage projects.
• Take responsibility for the technical aspects of projects as part of the International Business Development team.
• Support equipment and systems procurement processes, including the preparation of technical requirements and specifications, evaluation of suppliers and technical proposals, and support throughout the contracting process.
• Prepare RFPs for subcontractors, including the review and comparison of technical proposals and support during the contracting process.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the engineering, design, and construction phases, including support for construction supervision, quality assurance, and compliance with design requirements and technical specifications.
• Work closely with consultants, suppliers, and contractors while managing technical interfaces throughout the project lifecycle.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing or providing technical leadership for projects in the energy, renewable energy, or energy storage sectors.
• Experience working with solar PV systems, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), electrical infrastructure, and civil infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple interfaces, demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering – Mandatory.
• Experience in preparing technical specifications, managing tenders, evaluating supplier and contractor proposals, and supporting procurement processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation, analyze technical requirements, and conduct quality control reviews.
• High level of English proficiency, both written and spoken, for ongoing communication with international stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel abroad as required by project needs.
