Business Intelligence System Analyst

The department acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and Data Engineering, translating complex business needs into scalable data solutions. Working across multiple teams and business domains, we take a company-wide perspective, owning data definitions, business logic, and the design of BI solutions that support strategic decision-making and improve business processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the business definitions, logic and data models behind our core dashboards and KPIs.
• Design data solutions with Data Engineering: specify tables, aggregation logic and source-to-target mappings, and maintain the data dictionary and metric definitions that every solution uses.
• Analyze new requirements and translate business questions into solutions, detailed design docs and Jira stories with acceptance criteria.
• Lead projects end-to-end: scope definition, planning, stakeholder reviews, analysis and design, delivery with engineering, and rollout.
• Spot recurring data and reporting problems, and establish data principles, policies and processes that improve and simplify how data is used.

Requirements

• 3+ years as a BI System Analyst, Data Product Manager or in a similar role.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into solutions and writing design docs.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and BI tools.
• High adopter of AI tools and new technologies, and hungry to learn: you don't wait for things to be handed to you.
• A business-oriented mindset combined with a solid understanding of the data world: databases, DWH, ETL pipelines, data flows and BI concepts.
• Strong analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• High ownership: you close loops, track follow-ups, and deliver without constant reminders.
• Team player and a people person, who enjoys working with multiple teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
