SOC Tier 2 Analyst

Role Overview

TCS Israel is looking for a SOC Tier 2 Analyst to join a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) supporting a leading banking client in Jerusalem. The role focuses on threat detection, incident response, security monitoring, and vulnerability analysis in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and threats.
• Analyze security logs and alerts using SIEM and SOAR platforms.
• Perform threat hunting, vulnerability analysis, and incident investigations.
• Manage and optimize ArcSight, Splunk, and Siemplify environments.
• Support SOC reporting, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior SOC analysts and assist with ticket queue management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a SOC Tier 2 Analyst.
• Hands-on experience with ArcSight SIEM, Splunk, and Siemplify SOAR.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001.
• Experience with vulnerability management, incident response, and threat analysis.
• Knowledge of security concepts, network security, and cyber threats.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment.

Advantages

• Security certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CISM, or OSCP.
• Experience in the banking or financial sector.
• Knowledge of security automation and SOAR playbooks.
