Project Management Officer

About the Role

A leading aviation startup is seeking a Project Management Officer to lead planning, control, and operational processes across production activities and company projects.

This role involves building work plans, monitoring project execution, coordinating cross-functional teams, working with suppliers, tracking schedules, and removing operational bottlenecks to ensure efficient and continuous execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of prioritizing effectively, and possesses strong systems thinking.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain weekly and monthly production work plans.
• Manage and track work orders and tasks through company systems.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
• Identify bottlenecks, remove obstacles, and drive tasks to completion across multiple stakeholders.
• Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate and align activities between Production, Procurement, Engineering, and functional managers.
• Manage ongoing project status updates and proactively escalate risks, delays, and deviations.
• Lead process improvement initiatives, focusing on operational excellence, organization, and efficiency.

Requirements

Must Have

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Industrial Engineering & Management or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in PMO, Project Management, or Project Operations roles.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to drive processes, manage multiple priorities, and maintain effective follow-up and control.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working across multiple interfaces and stakeholders.

Advantages

• Experience with work orders and manufacturing/production processes.
• Experience using project and task management tools such as Priority and/or Monday.com.
• Previous experience in defense industry companies.
