NeoDawn is building an AI architecture for reasoning over data streams sampled from operational systems. This is a paradigm shift - a reasoning capability that continuously learns and goes beyond the boundaries and limitations of language. It enables broad, causal, and explainable reasoning across the accumulating volume of signals and constraints that industrial manufacturers face every day. Our first commercial product, Savor, is designed for large-scale food manufacturing plants and is currently being piloted with industry customers.

Role Description

As an AI Engineer at NeoDawn, you will join the core team developing the Neo reasoning engine, working under the guidance of the CTO. You will develop components of a proprietary AI architecture and help take a breakthrough capability, validated so far under lab conditions, into large-scale production use. You will adapt and train the architecture for different industries, and build pipelines for training, evaluation and model monitoring. You will also work with real customer data from manufacturing and operational environments. Daily responsibilities include applied research: prototyping new approaches, running experiments, measuring results against defined metrics, and iterating based on empirical findings. This is a full-time, remote role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing ML/AI in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch (or an equivalent framework).
• Hands-on experience with model training, fine-tuning, and building evaluation pipelines.
• Ability to read research papers and translate them into working implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another quantitative field.
• An advanced degree, experience training foundation models at scale, work with industrial time-series data, or early-stage startup experience is a plus.
