SIP Program Manager

DustPhotonics, now part of Credo, develops cutting-edge Silicon Photonics technology for high-performance data center connectivity.

We are seeking for an experienced Silicon Photonics Technical Program Manager with strong technical knowledge in Silicon Photonics, photonic devices, simulation, characterization and system-level integration.

The role will work closely with the Silicon Photonics Design Manager and will focus on driving cross-functional execution from product definition through validation and production readiness.

The position does not include hands-on component design.

The Design Manager owns the technical design and engineering decisions, while the Technical Program Manager owns program execution, requirements alignment, roadmap, dependencies, risks and coordination across teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Silicon Photonics development programs from definition through production readiness.
• Work closely with the Silicon Photonics Design Manager to align technical priorities, milestones, dependencies, and product requirements.
• Translate customer and product requirements into clear technical plans, deliverables, and development milestones.
• Coordinate across photonics design, electronics, packaging, test, product, operations, and customer-facing teams.
• Maintain the development roadmap, critical path, risks, actions, and readiness criteria.
• Drive technical and program reviews, identify gaps early, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support customer technical discussions and maintain alignment between customer needs, product specifications, and engineering execution.
• Challenge technical assumptions when needed, while keeping design authority with the relevant engineering owners.

Required Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of Silicon Photonics technologies and product development flows.
• Strong background in photonic devices, analysis, simulation, characterization, and data analysis.
• Good understanding of device and system-level trade-offs and integration challenges.
• Strong system-level thinking and ability to connect customer requirements with engineering execution.
• Experience leading complex multidisciplinary development programs in photonics, semiconductor, optical communication, or related fields.
• Strong communication, coordination, and program management skills.
