Systems Engineer – Electronic Packaging | Holon

Mertens - MalamTeam is hiring a Systems Engineer specializing in Electronic Packaging to join a defense organization in Holon

An opportunity to take part in the design and development of military systems for airborne, naval, and ground platforms, combining mechanical design, installation support, and engineering project management with subcontractors

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical design of electronic packaging assemblies and participation in the design and installation of military systems

Designing LRU and SRU units, transmitters, receivers, radar antennas, and radomes

Designing structures, auxiliary equipment, and masts

Providing technical guidance and managing engineering design projects through subcontractors

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

At least 5 years of engineering design experience in electronic packaging

Experience designing the specified assemblies and familiarity with relevant manufacturing technologies

Proficiency in SolidWorks and NX

Strong understanding of structural strength, dynamic, and thermal analyses

Experience writing Specification and Statement of Work (SOW) documents

Proficiency in English and knowledge of working with Generative AI (GAI) agents

Experience in mechanical design of moving mechanisms is an advantage
