Electrical & Electronics Engineer (NPI & Production)

A leading defense company is looking for an Electrical & Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to lead manufacturing processes, drive NPI from R&D to production, manage PCBA subcontractors, and optimize production efficiency for complex defense systems.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany product development to ensure manufacturability (DFM) and lead transfer from R&D to production.
• Review engineering designs against procurement parameters, reduce product costs, and preserve manufacturing knowledge.
• Define manufacturing processes, quality controls, line layouts, and characterize Jigs and production tools.
• Author work instructions, routings, and specifications using CAD tools.
• Lead Production Readiness Reviews (PRR) with internal and external defense stakeholders.
• Provide floor support, troubleshoot issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and train operators during first-article and series production.
• Act as technical focal point for PCBA assembly subcontractors.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - MUST.
• At least 2 years of experience in electronics NPI and production engineering - MUST.
• Proven experience managing EMS subcontractors for PCBA assembly
• Hands-on expertise in PCBA manufacturing processes and technologies
• Strong knowledge of electronic components and finding cross-references
• Proven track record in troubleshooting and root-cause failure analysis
• Advantage: Experience creating BOMs, manufacturing files, or cable/harness manufacturing methods.
