AI Algorithm Engineer / Data Scientist – RF & Radar Signals

(4-Month Project | Freelance or Temporary Full-Time Employment)  

IronBrain is hiring a AI Algorithm Engineer for a stealth, high-impact defense project developing a novel, AI-driven RF sensor analysis system.

Key Responsibilities

• Design high-quality applied AI solutions tailored for complex RF, Radar, and Elint applications. for diverse time-series radar data modalities. 
• Implement advanced AI-driven solutions combining multiple Disciplines : from AI models from computer-vision / time-series domains, through heuristic algorithms.
• Integrate temporal and spatial representation mechanisms (e.g., Transformers) directly into the model architecture.
• Conduct experiments, ablations, and performance evaluations to achieve proof of concept.
• Maintain reproducible code infrastructure and present insights to project stakeholders.

Must-Have Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other STEM Relevant Fields.
• Core Expertise: Hands-on experience with
• Applied AI & algorithms systems implementation. 
• AI Models training (pretraining/fine-tuning/SSL)
• Familiar with 
• Signal processing and statistical algorithms. 
• Intrinsic temporal architecture design.
• Technical & Domain Skills: Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and experience with time-series analysis, multi-dimensional sensor data, or digital signal processing . 
• Prerequisites:Strong self-learning abilities, and availability for a 4-month, full-time, on-site freelance commitment.

Nice-to-Have

• M.Sc or Ph.D in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other STEM related fields.
• Prior domain background in Radar systems, SIGINT, or defense/classified EW projects.
• Familiarity with Transformers for Time Series, State-Space Models, Contrastive Learning, or generative models or Agetic AI LM based systems.
• Valid security clearance.

Engagement Details

• Duration: 4 months, full-time, with extension potential.
• Engagement Type:
• Freelance / Independent Contractor, or
• Temporary full-time salaried employment (fixed-term contract).

• Location: On-site only (due to security requirements). The office is located in Tel Aviv near Hashalom train station.
• Growth: High potential to transition into a long-term position, including future Team Lead opportunities.
