Skechers Israel IT & Information Security Representative

Reports to: IT Sr. Director

Department: IT

JOB PURPOSE

Provide excellent global technical support, advice, and resolutions of IT issues to end-users across all levels of the Company via the Service Now portal, remotely and face to face.

Act as the local point of contact for Information Security in Israel, supporting the protection of the Company’s systems, networks and information assets, and ensuring alignment with corporate cybersecurity standards, applicable regulations and information security best practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to telephone calls, emails and Service Now requests for technical support.

Create, track, and monitor problems to ensure timely resolution.

Escalate issues to the appropriate group when needed.

Identify, research, and resolve problems reported by end-users.

Understand and support Aptos Retail POS System.

Write tickets and assign jobs to the appropriate IT personnel.

Administer user accounts in Israel.

Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, including portable and handheld devices.

Document procedures to use them in our knowledge base.

Own issues until job completion.

Information Security Responsibilities:

Support local cybersecurity activities in coordination with Corporate IT.

Identify and help mitigate cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.

Support incident response and identity/access activities.

Maintain local security policies and controls in line with Corporate standards.

Support compliance, audits, employee awareness and third-party security reviews.

Act as the local point of contact for information security matters.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Focused and able to work independently and in a team environment.

Capable of learning quickly.

Proficient in managing tasks and following through in a detailed and organized manner.

Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication skills and work ethic.

Working knowledge of networking & network security.

Experience in hardware and software installations, configurations and troubleshooting that includes handheld devices.

Good experience in Retail Point of Sale.

Proficiency in all Windows 11, MS Office 365, Server 2019 and above, and various e-mail clients.

Desired experience in Active Directory user administration, Macintosh, SQL and Azure.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity, including network security, endpoint security, access management and incident response.

Experience with Priority ERP and Oracle systems is an advantage.

Understanding of EDI systems

Experience with Help Desk/end-user support experience.

A.S. degree or higher or proven years of experience

English and Hebrew language is essential with other languages an advantage.

Have a driver’s license.

Full availability is required, including beyond regular working hours.

Knowledge of applicable Israeli privacy and information security requirements.

Ability to combine technical knowledge, business understanding and regulatory awareness in managing information security risks.

The role involves physical work, including lifting heavy items (approximately 25 kg) and bending or reaching under desks and workstations to handle connections.
