About the Role

Althimis is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead defense programs from initial engagement through delivery and expansion. The role combines disciplined project execution with developing follow-on opportunities at strategic customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer programs, including POCs, pilots, and commercial deployments.
• Build work plans, milestones, and schedules; track delivery, budget, margin, risks, and dependencies.
• Build trusted customer relationships and identify opportunities to expand deployments, users, and capabilities.
• Work with Althimis leadership to shape follow-on opportunities into proposals and manage approved scope changes.
• Translate customer needs into clear requirements and coordinate with product, development, and QA teams.
• Lead customer communications, status reviews, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate demos, trials, field installations, integration, and system testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years managing technology projects, including 3+ years in the defense sector.
• Experience working with defense organizations, prime contractors, or defense companies.
• Strong customer-management skills and ability to lead technical teams without direct authority.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and commercial priorities.
• High-level Hebrew and English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel. 

Advantages

• Experience in drones, C-UAS, simulation, or training systems.
• Experience at a defense integrator such as Elbit, IAI, or Rafael.
• Familiarity with Israel Ministry of Defense and IDF processes.
• Degree in engineering or technology management.
