A successful biotech company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its R&D team and lead the development of innovative medical devices that impact patients worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multidisciplinary medical devices, primarily infusion pumps and related accessories.
• Lead the mechanical design and development of new products from concept through production.
• Develop precision mechanisms and compact electro-mechanical packaging solutions.
• Provide ongoing engineering support for the company's existing product portfolio.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including concepts, designs, drawings, specifications, and processes.
• Participate in hands-on prototyping, assembly, and testing of mechanical components and assemblies.

Requirements

Education

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university - Must.

Professional Experience

• At least 6 years of proven experience in electro-mechanical product design and development.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in the design and development of precision drive mechanisms - Must.
• Proven track record of leading mechanical designs from concept through development and production.
• Strong ability to create and maintain accurate engineering documentation.
• Familiarity with medical device regulations and standards - Advantage.
• Hands-on experience in building, assembling, and testing mechanical components and assemblies.

Technical Skills

• Excellent hands-on experience with SolidWorks and PDM.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Languages

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
