Lead Full Stack Web Developer

We’re looking for a Lead Full Stack Web Developer to take end-to-end ownership of a production web platform at a fast-growing Industrial Tech / ConTech startup in Tel Aviv.

This is a senior, highly hands-on role combining full stack development, architecture, DevOps, and technical leadership. You’ll work on a live production platform and gradually take full technical ownership of the company’s web domain.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications across the full stack
• Build modern, high-performance front-end applications using React and Next.js
• Develop robust backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Implement and optimize Server-Side Rendering (SSR) solutions
• Own the DevOps side of the web stack, including CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, and cloud infrastructure
• Utilize AI-assisted and agentic development workflows to increase productivity and innovation
• Serve as the technical authority for the web domain, set architectural direction, define standards, and review code
• Ramp up quickly on the existing platform and grow into full ownership of the web domain
• Collaborate closely with a small, agile team to rapidly deliver product features
• Mentor developers as the team grows

• Requirements:
• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, including a role as Tech Lead or Lead Developer on a production web platform
• Deep expertise in React, including performance optimization and large-codebase structure
• Proven track record of designing and owning system architecture end to end
• Proven experience with Next.js and Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js, including API design and data modeling
• Hands-on DevOps capability, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, cloud deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting
• Experience working with AI-assisted / agentic workflows and modern development tools
• Comfortable working in a startup environment with high ownership and autonomy
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently with a high degree of autonomy
• Ability to absorb an existing codebase quickly and take responsibility for it
• Clear communication skills and the maturity to make and defend technical decisions with product and management

Nice to Have:

- Experience with Python, Apache Spark, or Databricks

- Familiarity with Azure Cloud services

- Experience mentoring developers or leading a small engineering team

- Background in Industrial IoT / IIoT platforms, data pipelines, or connected devices
