Data Center Engineer

Senior Data Center Technician (L3) | Tel Aviv, Israel | Rolling Contract | Long-Term Opportunity | $76p/hour | Huge Client!

We're looking for an experienced L3 Data Center Technician to take a senior, hands-on role supporting our client's datacenter operations in Tel Aviv. This is a long-term opportunity with one of the leading employers in the region. Contractors on this account regularly stay for years and the contract extends on a rolling basis.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as the escalation point (L3) for complex hardware, infrastructure and facilities incidents, taking ownership through to resolution
• Lead, mentor and guide L1/L2 technicians and oversee day to day on-site activity
• Plan and lead the installation, relocation and decommissioning of servers, switches, storage and network hardware
• Perform advanced root cause analysis on hardware and infrastructure faults, and manage vendor engagement and RMAs
• Monitor and respond to power, environmental and infrastructure alerts, driving corrective and preventive action
• Oversee checks and maintenance across HVAC, cabling, fire suppression and power systems (UPS, PDUs, generators)
• Manage structured cabling standards: fiber/copper patching, labelling, testing and troubleshooting
• Solid rack and stack experience, with a good understanding of power and cooling in a live environment
• Strong hardware knowledge across servers, networking and storage (enterprise vendors such as Dell, HPE, Cisco, etc.)

This is a great opportunity to work with a great client on a genuinely stable, long-term contract. If this sounds of interest, apply now! Interviews are starting this week!

Alternatively, if you know of anyone that could be a good fit, please do send them across to [email protected] and we could pay up to $200 in vouchers for a successful placement!
