Job Description:

• Manage a development and systems analysis team handling multiple tasks simultaneously, alongside the ongoing maintenance of the systems under its responsibility.
• Work with representatives from headquarters units to plan solutions for business requirements, lead projects, and integrate new requirements while maintaining existing systems.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in the modernization of some of the systems over the coming years as part of the team leader's responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a development and systems analysis team of 3–5 employees working with IBM AS/400 systems.
• Manage, develop, and advance critical core systems, including planning and operational responsibilities.
• Lead end-to-end software development projects (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, testing, and production deployment.
• Implement and maintain core systems.
• Promote the integration of AI into the team's work.
• Provide professional and managerial guidance to the development team, including setting individual goals, conducting performance reviews, and motivating employees.
• Conduct code reviews, participate in defining development standards, and implement development procedures.
• Participate in core systems modernization initiatives, including transitioning to new technologies and adapting systems to future digital needs and external interfaces.
• Manage interfaces with other teams responsible for internal and external organizational systems.
• Plan and monitor team work plans, track tasks, and ensure objectives and deadlines are met.
• Ensure development quality and provide professional support to user departments.
• Actively participate in recruitment and onboarding of new employees.

Requirements:

• An academic degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field – mandatory.
• At least 8 years of experience in software requirements analysis and development on IBM AS/400 – mandatory.
• At least 2 years of direct management experience leading development teams of at least 3 employees – mandatory, including work planning, commitment management, meeting deadlines, and monitoring team performance and quality.
• Experience in systems analysis and/or working with systems analysts in projects, in coordination with project managers.
• Experience developing in RPG and COBOL – mandatory.
• Experience developing in SQL – mandatory.
• Experience working with Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2 databases.
