Senior RF & PHY Systems Engineer- 244287

We’re looking for a Senior RF & PHY Systems Engineer to own system definition, analysis, and hands-on performance verification for advanced wireless architectures. You’ll bridge baseband signal processing and analog RF hardware, with technical ownership of link performance and end-to-end system behavior.

What you’ll do:

• Define and execute system evaluations across RF, baseband, PHY, and modem performance.
• Validate algorithms, analyze measurement data, and develop instrument automation and custom test scripts.
• Debug complex issues across RF, digital hardware, and PHY software.
• Drive architectural decisions and author technical system documents and specifications.

What you’ll bring:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in RF and PHY system design, analysis, or performance engineering for wireless communications.
• Proven experience defining and executing RF, baseband, PHY, and modem performance evaluations.
• Advanced Python and/or MATLAB skills for algorithm validation, data analysis, instrument automation, and test development.
• Deep practical experience with high-frequency RF instruments, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, and VNAs.
• Strong debugging skills across RF, digital hardware, and PHY software.
• Solid understanding of RF chains, NF, IP3, return loss, and Superheterodyne / Zero-IF receiver architectures.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with experience authoring technical system documents and specifications.

Ways to stand out:

• Practical knowledge of I/Q modulation, QAM, PSK, DPD, AGC, and EVM characterization.
• Experience serving as a technical focal point across RFIC design, algorithm, software, and firmware teams.
• A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, broad system perspective, and strong collaboration in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
