The Opportunity

We are expanding operations in Israel and looking for an experienced finance professional for the position of Finance Analyst, based in Herzelya.

Your Role

As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end local finance operations of Swixx Biopharma in Israel, covering the monthly accounting close, procure-to-pay and order-to-cash processes, management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, treasury and banking administration, and commercial finance and compliance support for the local market. You will act as the primary finance point of contact for Israel, working closely with the outsourced local accounting provider, the regional finance team, Group Controlling, and local commercial, legal and supply chain stakeholders. Specifically, you will:

• Own the monthly accounting close for the Israel entity: review, upload and reconcile General Ledger entries, inventory postings and cost-center allocations in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV), and review COGS accruals and margin adjustments within agreed close deadlines.
• Coordinate with the outsourced local accounting provider to ensure timely monthly closing, reconciliations and statutory bookkeeping, and lead monthly results review calls with the provider and regional finance stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly actual reporting (P&L, sales, OPEX) with variance commentary against budget and projections, and contribute Israel data and commentary to regional sales reporting, KPI trackers and Group closing packages.
• Reconcile monthly inventory files, ensuring accuracy of stock valuation and cost of goods sold.
• Manage the entity’s banking relationships and online banking administration; initiate and process local and intercompany payments, track credit notes, monitor the local cash position and support cash flow forecasting.
• Manage the local procurement process (suppliers, purchase orders), ensuring appropriate documentation and approval trails, and review employee expense reports for adherence to policy.
• Provide financial analysis and modelling to support pricing negotiations, and liaise with Legal, Compliance and regional finance on the financial terms of distribution agreements.
• Ensure local statutory, tax (including VAT) and regulatory finance requirements are met, in coordination with local advisors and the accounting provider.
• Perform internal control activities and support compliance reviews in line with Swixx procedures.
• Administer finance-related system configurations for the Israel entity, such as the expense management platform and ERP mapping.

Your Profile

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA) will be taken as an advantage

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a finance analyst, accountant or controller role
• Experience with corporate online banking platforms and payment processing
• Experience within a multinational pharmaceutical or healthcare company will be taken as an advantage
• Experience coordinating with an outsourced or local accounting/bookkeeping provider will be taken as an advantage
• Experience in ERP implementation will be taken as an advantage

Knowledge and expertise

• Working knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision or similar)
• Familiarity with planning and consolidation tools (Kepion or similar)
• Understanding of local Israeli statutory, VAT and regulatory finance requirements
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical market access and payer landscape in Israel will be taken as an advantage
• Strong Excel skills; comfortable handling large data sets, General Ledger detail and complex reconciliations
• Fluency in Hebrew and English

• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and accuracy under tight close deadlines
• Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple concurrent deadlines across close, reporting, budgeting and ad hoc requests
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to work cross-functionally with commercial, legal/compliance, supply chain and regional/Group finance teams
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed, multinational organization
