.NET Backend Team Lead | Travel-Tech | Petah Tikva

Full-time | Hybrid: 1 day per week working from home | Seniority: Team Lead

We’re looking for a hands-on Backend Team Lead who loves technology and people - someone who enjoys leading developers, writing code, and solving complex technical challenges, but also wants to understand the business, the users, and the bigger picture behind what the team builds.

Someone who knows how to balance technical leadership with people management, take ownership, and help the team grow and succeed.

💻 What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of Backend developers, supporting their professional growth and day-to-day work
• Stay hands-on with Backend development using C# and .NET
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of APIs and services
• Oversee integrations with complex external and third-party systems
• Work extensively with SQL Server
• Take ownership of technical decisions, code quality, and development best practices
• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions and development priorities
• Lead development of new features while maintaining and improving existing systems
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and other internal teams
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and guide the team toward practical solutions
• Work in an environment that includes Microsoft Azure
• Encourage the use and exploration of AI tools as part of the development process

🔎 What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on Backend development experience - Must
• 1-2 years of experience leading a development team - Must
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET - Must
• Strong experience with SQL Server - Must
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
• Experienced with leading technical decisions and taking end-to-end ownership of development tasks

• Experience with complex system integrations
• Experience mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and maintaining code quality
• Ability to understand complex systems and business processes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to balance hands-on development with team leadership
• Curiosity, a learning mindset, and a genuine passion for technology

Nice to Have

• Experience with complex third-party integrations
• Familiarity with AI tools and their use in software development
• Experience in Travel-Tech, E-commerce, or other integration-heavy environments
