Electrical Design Team Leader

Operating internationally, the company designs, engineers, and delivers complex turnkey automation projects, automated material handling ecosystems, and smart multi-axis robotic storage facilities.

Located in the Central District.

Role Description-

• Serving as Electrical & Control Design Team Lead, heading a dedicated engineering team responsible for the electrical architecture and control engineering of complex robotic and automated intralogistics systems.
• Taking full lifecycle engineering ownership from preliminary concept, hardware sizing, schematics, and control cabinet architecture through to factory testing, site installation, and on-site commissioning.
• Leading electrical and automation system design for heavy machinery, automated storage/retrieval systems (ASRS), and multi-axis robotic parking platforms.
• Mentoring and guiding electrical design engineers, establishing standardized engineering methodologies, and conducting rigorous schematic and design reviews.
• Sizing and integrating PLCs, HMIs, sensory suites, industrial drives/VFDs, servo motion systems, and industrial bus communications.
• Leading field engineering readiness, collaborating closely with mechanical, software, and project management teams, and supporting on-site commissioning across domestic and international client facilities.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Control Engineering, or certified Practical Electrical Engineer ) – Mandatory
• Valid Israeli Electrician License – Mandatory
• Proven track record in leading/managing an electrical design engineering team – Mandatory
• 5+ years of dedicated professional experience in electrical and control design for industrial machines, robotics, or complex automated systems – Mandatory
• Proven hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical (or equivalent electrical CAD suites) – Mandatory
• Comprehensive technical depth in PLCs, HMIs, sensors, motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus) – Mandatory
• Direct, practical experience with industrial automation projects and hands-on site commissioning – Mandatory
• Willingness and availability for technical site visits across Israel and occasional travel abroad – Mandatory
• High technical fluency in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
