Validation and Integration Engineer

Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior System Validation & Silicon Bring-Up Engineer, leading end-to-end validation, characterization, and debugging from silicon and board levels to complete platform systems.
• Driving hands-on Silicon Bring-Up and board-level validation for new ASIC revisions, Evaluation Boards (EVBs), reference designs, and optical transceiver modules.
• Executing full physical-layer and system-level validation of Optical Modules, SerDes, and high-speed electrical links, interfacing directly with customer platforms.
• Architecting and running test automation scripts in Python / MATLAB to automate laboratory test benches, bench instrumentation (scopes, BERTs, optical spectrum analyzers), regression suites, and parametric characterization.
• Performing in-depth signal integrity and physical characterization, including BER testing, eye diagram quality, jitter analysis, power dissipation, and thermal metrics.
• Leading complex root-cause failure investigations across hardware, firmware, and system layers; performing board-level debug and schematic reviews.
• Conducting characterization of on-chip analog blocks, PLLs, ADCs, DACs, voltage regulators, clock trees, power-sequencing architectures, and telemetry circuits.
• Interfacing cross-functionally with ASIC Design, Hardware, Firmware, and Software squads, while directly supporting tier-1 customer evaluations, reproduction of customer issues, and live technical demonstrations.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering – Mandatory
• 6+ years of dedicated professional hands-on experience in Hardware Validation, Silicon Validation, or System Integration – Mandatory
• Strong, proven laboratory proficiency and hands-on expertise operating advanced electronic and optical test instrumentation – Mandatory
• Deep, proven experience in root-cause debugging of complex electronic hardware and mixed-signal systems – Mandatory
• Solid programming proficiency in Python (or MATLAB) for automated test bench execution, instrument control, and data analysis – Mandatory
• Solid technical grasp of Digital Interfaces, Embedded Systems, and bus protocols – Mandatory
• Proven background in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and high-speed communication systems – Mandatory
• Solid understanding of power sequencing, voltage regulators, clock architectures, and reset schemes – Mandatory
• Strong capability to analyze and interpret complex schematics and perform board-level debugging – Mandatory
• Excellent problem-solving mindset, collaborative orientation, and fluent technical communication skills in English (written and verbal) – Mandatory
