R&D Team Leader

Role Description-

• Serving as an R&D Team Lead / Technical Product Lead, heading a dedicated engineering squad of 2 developers while providing overarching technical leadership for the company's defense product line.
• Driving the architecture, development, and deployment of mission-critical, edge-computing video solutions deployed directly in field operations (tactical drones, camera feeds, situational awareness systems).
• Leading the integration of low-latency video pipelines and real-time streaming to remote command and control centers (C2).
• Implementing hardware-accelerated video analytics, computer vision, and AI inference pipelines on embedded edge hardware platforms.
• Blending direct people leadership, task prioritization, and technical mentoring with hands-on system architecture, development, and debugging in a multidisciplinary environment.

Requirements-

• 5+ years of proven team leadership / engineering management experience – Mandatory
• Strong hands-on programming depth in C++, Python, or C – Mandatory
• Extensive, proven domain expertise in embedded video processing and Edge AI platforms, specifically with NVIDIA Jetson, JetPack, DeepStream, and TensorRT – Mandatory
• Deep working proficiency in Linux environments, system-level configuration, and performance optimization – Mandatory
• Practical background in video protocols, low-latency streaming (e.g., RTSP, WebRTC, GStreamer), or video pipeline optimization – Mandatory
• Strong technical leadership capabilities, practical problem-solving mindset, and fluent communication skills in English – Mandatory
