About the Role:

We are looking for a Business & Technology Risk Manager with a strong technical orientation to lead risk management in a product driven, data centric, and innovation focused environment.

This role combines responsibility for enterprise, business, and technology risk management with the development and implementation of data and AI-driven monitoring, control, and analysis processes. The position involves close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Data, and Cyber Security.

• Lead the identification, assessment, and management of enterprise, business, and technology risks.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve risk management frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
• Assess the impact of business and technology activities on the company's risk profile and lead risk mitigation initiatives.
• Design, develop, and implement AI powered tools to detect anomalies, unusual events, and emerging risk patterns.
• Work closely with Product and Data teams to develop and implement monitoring, control, and measurement tools covering operational, business, and technology domains.
• Lead risk assessments for systems, products, vendors, processes, and new initiatives.
• Collaborate with business, technology, and regulatory stakeholders, including Product, Technology, Data, Cyber Security, Legal, Compliance, and senior leadership.
• Identify and escalate risks, evaluate alternatives, and provide business recommendations that support the company's growth.
• Lead third party risk management, including risks associated with vendors and technology partners.
• Support global expansion and readiness for regulatory requirements across multiple markets.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in risk management within a technology driven environment, fintech, payments, SaaS, or a product and technology oriented organization.
• Proven experience building risk management processes and enterprise risk management capabilities from the ground up, including implementing frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong technical orientation and the ability to understand system architecture, software development processes, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and data platforms.
• Hands on experience working closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Cyber Security teams.
• Experience conducting risk assessments for technology products, systems, processes, and vendors.
• Experience in payments, credit, digital banking, or fintech - an advantage.
• Experience working in global organizations or fast-growing scale-ups - an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI tools and their application in risk management, monitoring, anomaly detection, automation, and decision-making.
• In depth understanding of financial regulations, data privacy, and third-party vendor risk management.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and key stakeholders, build alignment, and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong critical-thinking skills, a high degree of autonomy, and the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
