Senior Network & Information Security Engineer

A large, stable and leading organization is looking for a Senior Network & Information Security Engineer to join its infrastructure team.

This is a highly hands-on role combining enterprise networking, information security, infrastructure projects and Tier 3 troubleshooting in a complex, critical and regulated production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, implement and maintain complex network and information security infrastructures.
• Hands-on work with Cisco switches and routers, including network protocols such as BGP, OSPF and EIGRP, as well as SD-WAN and Cisco ISE/NAC.
• Manage and troubleshoot F5 Load Balancers and enterprise security solutions including Firewalls, WAF, AlgoSec, SolarWinds, GoAnywhere MFT and data sanitization solutions.
• Lead and participate in infrastructure and security projects, system hardening and complex Tier 3 incidents.
• Work across Windows and Linux environments and with cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Networking / Network Security / Infrastructure – mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers - mandatory.
• Practical experience with BGP / OSPF / EIGRP, SD-WAN and Cisco ISE/NAC.
• Hands-on experience with F5 Load Balancers – highly important.
• Practical experience with enterprise security solutions, particularly Firewalls and WAF.
• Experience with AlgoSec, SolarWinds, GoAnywhere MFT and data sanitization solutions – advantage.
• AWS Cloud experience - significant advantage.
• Experience in large Enterprise, financial or regulated environments - strong advantage.
• Relevant professional certifications and technical training are highly valued.
