Legal Counsel

Backed by top-tier investors and led by second-time founders who previously built the first software supply chain security company, which was later acquired by Aqua Security, we’ve gone from stealth to serving global enterprise customers in under six months.

Echo is looking for a Legal Counsel to join our growing team and take a key role in supporting the company as we scale globally.

This is a hands-on role for a strong corporate and commercial lawyer who wants to work at the heart of a fast-growing cybersecurity company. You’ll work closely with our founders and leadership team, partner with teams across the business, and handle a broad range of legal matters - from complex commercial agreements to corporate and strategic matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including enterprise customer, partner, vendor, SaaS and technology agreements.
• Work closely with our Sales team to support and accelerate complex enterprise deals.
• Support corporate matters, including financing transactions, corporate governance, equity and other strategic initiatives.
• Advise the company on privacy, data protection and other legal and regulatory matters relevant to a global cybersecurity business.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice to teams across the company.
• Work with external counsel in Israel and internationally as needed.
• Build and improve legal processes, templates and infrastructure that can scale with the company.
• Partner closely with the founders and leadership team on both day-to-day and strategic matters.
  
  

• Israeli-qualified lawyer with 5+ years of relevant legal experience – this is a must.
• At least 2–3 years of in-house legal experience at a B2B enterprise software company – this is a must.
• Proven experience supporting a business that sells software to large enterprise customers, including hands-on involvement in complex enterprise sales cycles and contract negotiations.
• Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements, including enterprise customer, SaaS, partner and vendor agreements.
• Experience working closely with Sales teams to negotiate and close enterprise deals.
• Previous experience in the corporate and/or commercial practice of a leading Israeli law firm is a strong advantage.
• Experience in cybersecurity is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of corporate matters and the legal needs of startups and growth companies.
• Excellent English, both written and spoken.
• Commercial mindset and the ability to balance legal considerations with business needs.
• Highly independent, proactive and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment.
