About the Role

A company specializing in project establishment and manufacturing is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead chemical facility construction projects — from initial design, through procurement and permitting, to final handover of an operational facility.

Key Responsibilities

· End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage facility construction projects across all phases — ensuring strict control over timelines, budget, quality, and safety.

·  Design Phase Oversight: Coordinate with engineering planners and consultants, supervising all design deliverables and technical documentation.

·  Procurement Management: Guide procurement workflows, including technical specifications, supplier surveys, bid comparisons, and equipment order tracking.

·   Licensing & Permitting: Lead regulatory and licensing processes — building permits, business licensing, authority approvals, and statutory compliance.

·  Site & Contractor Supervision: Direct and supervise contractors and service providers on-site, including execution control and payment approvals.

·   Commissioning & Handover: Lead on-site construction through commissioning, testing, and formal facility handover.

·  Stakeholder Communication: Maintain ongoing interfaces with clients, authorities, senior management, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

·  Contract Administration: Demonstrate deep familiarity and capability in managing commercial contracts and NDAs.

Requirements & Qualifications

·  Education: Academic degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering — Mandatory.

·   Industry Experience: Significant experience managing facility construction projects within the chemical industry.

·   Process Mastery: Full technical understanding of chemical processes, beyond schedule management alone.

·   Supervisory Track Record: Proven experience overseeing detailed design, procurement, and site contractors.

·   Permitting Expertise: Practical familiarity with licensing and regulatory permit processes with Israeli authorities.

·   Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with management software such as Priority, MS Project, or similar platforms.

·   People Management: Direct experience managing employees and team members.

·   Technical English: High-level English skills — technical reading, writing, and direct communication with international suppliers.

·   Mobility: Willingness to travel and work at sites nationwide | Valid driver's license.

Advantages / Preferred Qualifications

·   Hands-on experience in facility commissioning and startup phases.

·    Familiarity with process engineering diagrams (P&ID, PFD) and equipment specifications.

·     Experience working with the Standards Institution of Israel and the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

·     Proficiency in additional languages.
