Role Description This is a full-time remote Bookkeeper role at Slate Brands. The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping, including maintaining accurate ledgers, processing journal entries, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, tracking expenses and revenues, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. The role also involves working with accounting software, generating reports for management, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely, accurate financial information and adherence to accounting best practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Bookkeeping skills, including maintaining ledgers and accurate financial records.
• Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements to support reporting and decision-making.
• Candidates should possess experience with Accounting Software and related tools used in modern finance operations.
• Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Finance principles and Journal Entries (Accounting) for daily and period-end tasks.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Excel or other spreadsheet tools, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in e-commerce, consumer goods, or brand-focused businesses is beneficial.
