Head of Quantum Product

Role Overview

QTREX Quantum is seeking a high-impact, technically grounded Head of Quantum Product to bridge cutting-edge quantum physics with global commercial strategy. This role goes beyond conventional marketing: you will serve as the primary conduit between the quantum computing ecosystem and our product roadmap. You will lead technical requirements gathering, spearhead strategic industry collaborations, and define global product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market execution for next-generation quantum interconnects and hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Market Requirements & Voice of Customer (VoC): Deeply engage with quantum hardware architects, dilution refrigerator manufacturers, and research labs. Translate complex customer friction points and cryogenic interconnect challenges into concrete Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and strategic roadmap inputs for R&D.

Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Alliances: Identify, initiate, and nurture technical and commercial partnerships across the quantum stack (e.g., dilution refrigerator OEMs, quantum computing system builders, national labs, and university consortia). Drive joint development initiatives, co-marketing programs, and proof-of-concept (PoC) collaborations.

Positioning, Value Proposition & Messaging: Translate complex physics and advanced hardware capabilities into clear, differentiated value propositions, product messaging, and application-focused narratives for commercial and technical audiences.

Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Commercial Launches: Own and execute end-to-end product launch plans, defining target segments, application-focused use cases, pricing structures, and commercial milestones.

Technical Content, Marketing Collateral & Sales Enablement: Develop technical and product marketing content, including white papers, application notes, case studies, solution briefs, data sheets, presentations, and website content. Equip Marketing and Business Development with accurate, compelling technical narratives and tools for campaigns, conferences, customer engagement, and sales activities.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Landscape: Continuously track technological shifts, emerging qubit modalities, competing cryogenic packaging/interconnect approaches, and global quantum funding initiatives to keep QTREX ahead of market trends.

Qualifications & Profile

Technical Background: B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Physics, Quantum Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Materials, or a closely related field.

Industry Experience: 6+ years of proven experience in Product Marketing, Technical Product Management, or Strategic Business Development within deep-tech, semiconductor, cryogenic systems, or quantum computing sectors.

Domain Fluency: Strong, intuitive understanding of quantum computing architectures (e.g., superconducting circuits, spin qubits, photonics), RF/microwave signal delivery, cryogenic environments (mK operation), and advanced packaging.

Partnership Track Record: Demonstrated success in initiating and managing high-stakes technical collaborations, OEM partnerships, and customer co-development projects.

Customer Discovery Excellence: Proven ability to run structured discovery with academic researchers, system architects, and C-level executives to extract precise technical requirements.

Communication & Influence: Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting at technical conferences and engaging high-profile research institutions.
