A leading defense technology company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to develop advanced mechanical systems, dynamic assemblies, mechanisms, and aerospace structures.
What You’ll Do:
- Design mechanical systems, structural components, assemblies, mechanisms, and aerospace structures
- Define suitable manufacturing methods and processes for designed components
- Perform strength calculations and basic structural analyses using CAD/CAE tools
- Support designs throughout the development and manufacturing lifecycle
Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in the mechanical design of systems and dynamic assemblies
- Solid understanding of manufacturing methods and processes
Advantages:
- Experience with composite materials and their manufacturing processes
- Experience with Siemens NX in a Teamcenter environment
- Experience with static and dynamic analysis tools such as ANSYS or Nastran
