Global Supply Planner

About the role

Lieman Schlissel imports and distributes leading international candy and food brands (including Loacker and Mentos) to Israel's top retail chains. We're looking for a Supply Planner to join our Planning & Import team - responsible for translating demand forecasts into supply orders, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and maximum product availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Build supply plans based on existing demand forecasts

• Issue purchase orders in line with the supply plan

• Monitor and analyze forecasts: identify exceptions, gaps, and required adjustments

• Provide professional recommendations to improve forecast accuracy, in collaboration with Marketing

• Track inventory levels daily, analyze trends, and flag shortages or excess stock

• Handle supply and inventory issues in real time

• Update and generate orders as needed, coordinating with relevant stakeholders

• Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Logistics, Sales, and Operations

• Maintain ongoing contact with international suppliers to manage processes and resolve issues

Requirements

• 2–3+ years in a similar role — experience in a retail/FMCG environment is a strong advantage

• Advanced Excel skills — required

• Familiarity with ERP systems

• Strong analytical skills and systems thinking

• Abillty to work independently and manage multiple tasks in parallel

• Excellent English — reading, writing, and speaking

• Service orientation, strong communication and teamwork across multiple interfaces

• Precision, orderliness, and attention to detail

• Ability to handle change and work under pressure

• BA in Logistics / Industrial Engineering & Management / Economics

תחומי אחריות מרכזיים

• יצירת תוכנית אספקה על בסיס תחזית קיימת

• הפקת הזמנות רכש בהתאם לתוכנית

• בקרה וניתוח של תחזיות: זיהוי חריגות, פערים ושינויים נדרשים

• מתן המלצות מקצועיות לשיפור ודיוק התחזית

• מעקב יומי אחר רמות מלאי, ניתוח מגמות, איתור חוסרים או עודפים

• טיפול בבעיות ותקלות באספקות ובמלאי, כולל זיהוי בעיות בזמן אמת

• עדכון ויצירת הזמנות בהתאם לצורך ובתיאום עם ממשקים רלוונטיים

• עבודה שוטפת מול מחלקות שיווק, לוגיסטיקה, מכירות ותפעול

דרישות התפקיד

• ניסיון של 2-3 שנים לפחות בתפקיד דומה — ניסיון בסביבה קמעונאית/יצרנית יתרון משמעותי

• שליטה גבוהה באקסל - חובה

• היכרות עם מערכות ERP

• יכולת אנליטית גבוהה וראייה מערכתית

• יכולת עבודה עצמאית וניהול מספר משימות במקביל

• אנגלית מעולה – קריאה, דיבור וכתיבה
