Mainframe COBOL Developer

We are hiring a Mainframe COBOL Developer responsible for developing and maintaining customer information systems, analyzing functional and technical specifications, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting end-to-end business processes

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL systems related to customer information
• Analyze functional and technical specifications and plan unit tests
• Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, implement solutions, and consider future controls and prevention
• Take responsibility for end-to-end business processes within the systems
• Develop and analyze solutions using organizational AI tools such as Copilot

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience in Mainframe COBOL – mandatory
• Knowledge of COBOL MF, JCL, SQL, and DB2 – mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering – an advantage
• Banking experience, particularly with Account or Customer Information domains – an advantage
• Experience with AI development tools, .NET development, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously – an advantage
